Nature-Based support group for pregnancy. Facilitated experiential with horses, gardening, Qi Gong and outdoor mindfulness practice. This will be held in outdoor settings with indoor capacity depending on weather.
Increase your sense of feeling grounded and mentally prepared from the inside-out as you enter this amazing life transition of motherhood. Using a combination of equine, horticultural, outdoor, and mindfulness-based therapy over the course of the group you can find your individual growth pace to process emotions, honor how body, life, and relationships are shifting within a supportive community.

Meet the Facilitators
Debbie Mayer, LCSW
Debbie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience providing therapy with adults, families, and youth. She values providing opportunities for individuals and families to increase emotional strength and have healthy relationships. She has vast experience walking the path with women as they make the transition into motherhood. Debbie specialized in creating strong attachment relationships using various trainings including Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health, Mindfulness, and Adventure Therapy.
Stephanie McBride, MA
Stephanie is passionate about fostering a relationship with the nature that supports connection, embodiment, and empowerment, through life’s transitions. Stephanie is a registered psychotherapist and graduated from the Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy masters program at Naropa University. Stephanie has advanced training in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Since joining the team at Medicine Horse in January 2017, Stephanie has helped individuals, couples, and families become more connected in relationship.
